Ingredients

Steamed cakes

Ingredient Quantity
Flour (Blue Ferry or Bintang brand) 300g
Butter/margarine 240g
Evaporated milk 260ml
Sugar 200g
Baking powder 10g (3tsp)

 

Method

1/ Cream butter and sugar until light and creamy.

2/ Blend in milk gradually.

3/ Fold in flour with a metal spoon.

4/ Pour into a greased pan.

5/ Steam over hot boiling water for 1 -2hrs.
